But unfortunately, at least presently, engineering graduation is not possible via distance or correspondence mode of learning. That depends on your interests (software, hardware, designing, etc. ), but since you have come to question which branch in engineering take, then that means that you still have not made up your mind as to what you want to be. Do not freak out I too took up engineering just cos I did not know what else to do, this is what our great education system leads us to be, Mindless. But there is still time just give yourself time to explore yourself, try new things, and think about the skills you have learned yourself, and that is probably the field you should learn more on. And don't worry if you still can not figure out what you want just pick a branch that you feel suits you the best and then when you are in this course explore more, do things you haven't tried before, and eventually you will find that one thing your heart wants and go for it. Great interacting with you. Not actually studying Physics and Chemistry is compulsory in the first year and it is compulsory for all the branches. But after that, there is no room for Physics and Chemistry in CSE/Information Technology. Instead of that high standard of mathematics in this branch. Especially if someone wants to do something in AI or Data Science field then they have to study high-level mathematics especially Statistics and Linear Algebra. During your first year, you will have to study the basics of all the courses like mechanical, electrical, computer, Physics Maths and many more (6 subjects per semester in my institute), so you have no way around that.
