IDP - the conducting body of the IELTS exam has an extensive network of test centers across India. To find the available centers in your city, visit the official website or our IELTS Test Centre page.

Unfortunately, missing your booked IELTS slot without informing the test center beforehand or having a valid reason for absence results in forfeiting your entire test fee. This means you lose the money you paid for the test and will need to re-register and pay again if you wish to reschedule.

The minimum necessary TOEFL score for undergraduate admission is 80 for the internet-based test (iBT) and 550 for the paper-based test (PBT), according to the information available on the Loyola University Chicago website. The minimal TOEFL score needed for graduate admission is 80 on the iBT and 550 on the PBT. Meeting the minimal requirements, however, does not ensure admission as the university takes into account additional elements such extracurricular activity, academic standing, and recommendation letters. Thus, a TOEFL score of 85 is sufficient to meet Loyola University Chicago's minimal admission requirements.

To book a PTE exam slot, click the "Book Now" button under the 'PTE Academic Exam' section on the official webpage. You will be redirected to the "Pearson Vue" page wherein you will be needed to enter "India" or your city name in the search bar to get a list of the available exam centres in that area.

From the list, choose your preferred PTE exam centre, and a date and time slot, and pay the PTE exam fees, i.e. INR 18,000 (for Indian students).

Make sure to read the ID card policy and the cancellation policy before taking your PTE exam on the exam day.

Shortened from its original duration of 3 hours, the PTE exam is now conducted within 2 hours. However, there will be no change in the format, type of questions asked and the scoring criteria of the Pearson PTE exam. The significant change has been brought about by the reducing the total number of questions asked in the PTE exam, keeping rest everything just the same.

There is no such thing as a bad PTE Academic score. Every university would have its own PTE Academic score cut-off and students are required to achieve scores equal or higher than the set grade. Candidates should note that higher PTE Academic scores would automatically increase their chances of securing a seat at the university and also make them a front runner for any scholarships being offered by the university.

The PTE Academic exam is very competitively priced hence there is no discount on the PTE Academic registration fee.

Candidates should understand that the PTE Academic exam has been introduced to measure their English language proficiency. Hence a candidate who has prepared for the PTE Academic exam should not consider the exam a hurdle but as a stepping stone to higher education.
