You can book a PTE exam slot 24 hours before taking the test, that too without paying any extra fees. But it is better to book PTE slot a month before. This is because the slots run out fast and finding one can be difficult. High demand slots also run out fast. So choose before hand and then register.

To book a PTE test online, you can follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of Pearson PTE
- Create an account; if you don't already have an account, you will need to create one. Click on "Create Account" and provide your personal information, email address, and password.
- Once you have created your account, log in with your email address and password.
