The candidates should satisfy local/unreserved status requirement as laid down in the Telangana educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) order 1974 and the amendments made there to from time to time. The candidate other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned
Educational Qualifications
All the courses are of two years duration
Candidates should have passed B.Sc., B.A (or) equivalent exam will not less than 40% in the aggregate (part-2) (For SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient) and studied the subjects given in official websit

You can surely take admission for BA English. The only condition is you should have cleared 12th. It does not make any difference whether you are from commerce or arts background.
