Yes, there is an application fee charged for M.A Courses while submitting the application form. Application fee is a non-refundable amount and it cannot be waived back. For M.A courses, the application fee is CHF 150 that is roughly INR 17.50 K. 
CHF 1 = INR 116.69

Yes, Indian students are allowed to change their programme at ETH Zurich. To do that, students need to submit a written request to the Registrar's Office via email after enrolment starts for the following semester.

Students enrolled in UG courses can change their programme twice before graduating. At the PG level, however, a programme change is allowed only once.

Deadlines to submit a change of programme request at ETH Zurich is given below:

Most of the master's programs offered at ETH Zurich are taught generally in English and some require knowledge of German or mix. Applicants need to provide language proficiency proof which is usually C1 level for English and C1/B2 for German.

For Indian students, the GRE is also required for the ETH Zurich admissions. An academic transcripts and a CV would also be needed. Look at the language tests required for ETH below –

It can be considered really hard to get into the MS courses at ETH Zurich as the overall acceptance rate here is only 10% which can also be the case with the MS courses as well. 

To get in, Indian students are required to work really hard and meet the admission requirements given below - 

  • A good GPA
  • Extracurriculars
  • A great personal essay

Yes, but it can be quite tough for Indian students to be a part of ETH Zurich admissions. This is because the admission process in really tough with only about 19 to 25% acceptance rate. These students need their application to be perfect. Given below are the ETH admission requirements

·       A GPA of 8.8 on a 10.0 scale

·       English and German language proficiency

·       A strong letter of motivation (LOM)

·       GRE score for some programs

·       Good letters of recommendati
