If the field was optional in the form when you have registered for JEE Mains then there is no problem in leaving that field empty and if you want to fill that field again then JEE gives you second chance to correct some details in the upcoming months so please regularly check JEE Mains official

There is generally no entrance exam to get admission at Anna University and so you can get admission based on the board exam marks. If you have a great score like 90% and above then you can apply for admissions.
