You do not qualify based on eligibility criteria of the AFCAT exam. So you cannot apply for the same. For applying to the AFCAT exam, the minimum percentage of marks in 12th with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects is 50%. You should have a graduation degree from a recognised university for the Ground Duty branch with at least 60% marks. Your qualification being only a BA, in subjects not required for your interest, you do not meet this criterion. Hence, you would require to continue further studies in subjects that are relevant or some other degree that meets the eligibility criteria of the respective branches which are of interest to you and be eligible for AFCAT.

ICT  have an edge due to its specialised focus.ICT mumbai is way better than NIT Trichy for chemical engineering on most of the parameters if you are truly interested in chemical engineering . ICT has way better exposure and research than NIT Trichy .Professors will mostly be better at ICT mumbai.

If you do not plan to practice medicine in India, then you do not need to take the FMGE. The FMGE is mandatory for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who wish to obtain a license to practice medicine in India after completing their medical education abroad. Regarding the USMLE, if you pass all the steps of the USMLE that are required and you get your medical license in the United States, you are exempt from taking the FMGE for practising in India. However, if you do plan to practice in India at any point, you will still need to fulfil the FMGE requirement unless you hold a medical qualification recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) from specific countries like the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, along with a postgraduate qualification from those countries.
