The new SAT exam format is shorter and digital, and its difficulty varies based on the preparation and strengths of each individual student. The redesigned SAT features fewer questions but focusses more on data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, making it more targeted and applicable to real-world skills. Some students might find the test's shorter length and adaptive nature—in which the second portion changes according upon how well they performed in the first—helpful, but others would find the quicker tempo difficult. It may feel less daunting now that the optional essay has been eliminated and there are fewer questions overall, but the need to do well in the two primary sections—math and reading and writing combined—may necessitate concentrated preparation, particularly in time management. Although the new SAT is undoubtedly not "easier," many students believe it to be more efficient and more in line with the abilities required for college. 

In order to apply to the University of West London (UWL), candidates must fulfil certain prerequisites, which can change based on the programme and academic level (undergraduate or graduate). Strong academic credentials, usually a 2:1 undergraduate degree or its equivalent, are a prerequisite for the MBA program, while candidates with a variety of educational backgrounds are also taken into consideration. Candidates must have at least two years of full-time job experience, though many have more. They should also have a track record of professional accomplishments and leadership potential. A competitive GMAT or GRE score is necessary, though exceptional applicants may be granted a waiver by the school.

To be admitted to Oklahoma City University (OCU), international applicants must prove their English language skills. To fulfil this prerequisite, the institution accepts a number of examinations, such as the Duolingo English Test, the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), and the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). While OCU normally demands a minimum score of 61 on the internet-based test (iBT) for the TOEFL, the minimal score for the IELTS is often 6.0. The average result that OCU expects from students who take the Duolingo English Test is 95 or above. Students who don't reach these minimal score requirements may still be admitted in some circumstances, but they may need to sign up for additional English language classes or programs aimed at enhancing their language proficiency. Additionally, if the candidate is a natural English speaker or has completed prior English-language coursework, OCU may eliminate the English competence criterion. A student's comprehension and analysis of written content, along with their command of language and grammar, are evaluated in the SAT Reading & Writing portion. It is separated into two smaller sections: Language and Reading and Writing. Texts from literature, historical records, the social sciences, and the natural sciences make up the reading section. The questions that students must respond to assess their comprehension of the passage's meaning, tone, structure, and the author's use of language and evidence. The Writing and Language part assesses clarity, sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation. Students must find and fix mistakes or enhance the passage's overall impact to pass these questions, which present passages with underlined sections. Critical thinking, situational awareness, and a solid command of linguistic standards are necessary for both subsections. The objective is to assess a student's preparedness for reading and writing assignments at the college level, emphasising abilities like inference, contextual vocabulary, and text editing and revision for coherence and clarity.

The SAT exam's syllabus has indeed shrunk since it went digital. The test's overall length and question count have been shortened, which is one of the most noticeable modifications. Instead of lasting three hours as it did in the past, the digital SAT is only two hours long. The new exam comprises 98 questions instead of the 154 in the old paper-based version, which is a significant reduction in question count. Additionally, instead of having distinct sections for Reading, Writing, Math, and an optional Essay, the new SAT only consists of two primary portions: Math and Reading and Writing (combined). While some sections, such sentence correction, have been removed, the test's content has been simplified to concentrate more on useful, real-world abilities like reading comprehension, problem-solving, and data analysis. With these modifications, the test will still evaluate the fundamental abilities needed for college readiness while being more effective, user-friendly, and pertinent to contemporary educational demands.

Introduced in 2023, the SAT Digital exam has a revised format intended to enhance the test-taking experience. Compared to the regular three-hour SAT, the digital version lasts two hours. Maths and Reading and Writing (together) make up its two primary divisions. 54 questions in the Reading and Writing portion evaluate vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension in context. There are 44 questions in the maths section, split into two sections: one that permits calculator use and one that does not. The digital SAT offers a more individualised testing experience than the paper-based version since it is adaptable, meaning that the second component's difficulty level changes depending on how well the first section is completed. The digital version is also administered on a laptop or tablet, and the user-friendly interface of the test includes a digital calculator, a timer, and simple question navigation. In comparison to its predecessor, the digital SAT is also supposed to be faster in reporting scores and more secure.

By taking into account their level of preparation, application deadlines, and personal schedule, students can choose the best time to reserve a GMAT slot. The first step is to find out when the MBA programs they are applying to have deadlines so that they have enough time for the institutions to receive and process their GMAT results. To allow for retakes if necessary, students should ideally reserve a time window at least two to three months prior to these deadlines. They should also make sure they can finish their preparation before the exam date and take a diagnostic test to gauge their level of preparedness.
