The dates of JEE Main results are generally in February for Session 1 and May for Session 2. Pondicherry Engineering College does accept scores from JEE Main for admission. Cut-off ranks in PEC as follows: General (15,000-25,000), OBC (20,000-30,000), SC (40,000-50,000), ST (50,000-60,000). Counselling would typically start with registration in June, seat allocation in July, and admission confirmation in August. Closing ranks in PEC: Computer Science: 18,000-22,000; Electrical: 25,000-30,000; and Mechanical: 20,000-25,000. There is no provision for candidates belonging to the OBC Creamy layer for the NEST examination. Only provision is there for OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL), SC, ST, EWS and PWD candidates. All the candidates falling under the OBC creamy layer category are considered under the general category and no reservations are provided to such candidates.

You need not to worry regarding your English language.

Please complete your syllabus in advance, so you have enough time to practice and revise it thoroughly.

It would be good, if you take two subjects at a time, start with important and tough topics.

Start writing your answers, once you understand them.

 Do not go for rote learning, it won't help.
