No, the Graphic Era University admit students to its BSc/BSc (H) courses on a merit-basis. Hence, the applicants scores in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 is taken into consideration. Moreover, the university also accept CUET scores for selection and hence, students with a valid score can also apply. Hence, an entrance exam is not necessary for admission to the UG programme.

Admissions to the PMU BSc courses are not entrance-based. The seats are filled through a merit list published by the university on its official website. This merit list is based on the candidates' performance in Class 12. For getting an admission at PMU for BSc courses, a candidate can directly submit their application online through the university's official website. Before applying, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligible criteria applicable to their desired BSc specialisation.

The full form for UPSC is the Union Public Service Commission. It is an independent constitutional body vested with the task of conducting coveted government exams such as Civil Services Examination, National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, Indian Forest Service Examination etc. People have huge trust in this exam conducting organisation. Very rarely, any voice about any misconduct comes to notice.
