JEE Main rank is not considered for the NDA exam. There is no entrance exam for School of Management CMR University for admission to BBA
The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for BBA course is 10+2 qualification from a recognised board. For BBA, candidates who have passed two-year PUC or equivalent examination in Science, Arts or Commerce stream are eligible.
Admissions are done on the basis of merit followed by an interview conducted by the institute.

Yes you can take admission for MBA at CMR Centre of Business studies without MAT. For MBA, the Institute accept the scores of various entrance exams like KMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT, JMET, ATMA, JEE, PGCET for admissions. So you can apply with the score of any one of the entrance exam, if you do not wish to do with MAT. You only need to qualify in the cutoff marks which will be released based on the seats intake and applications.

Yes, you can give the improvement exam in 2025. According to the sources, the eligibility criteria for the CBSE Improvement Exam 2025 is that students who appeared in the CBSE Board exams in March 2024 can apply for the improvement exam in 2025.
