NIFT cutoff for a participating NIFT is the last rank for which admission is offered in for a particular programme and category. This means, if a candidate fails to score a rank equal to or higher than the cutoff rank, they don't get admission. Typically, a higher ranked institute will invite:

More applications

Higher ranked candidates

This in turn pushes up the cutoff in higher ranked (or popular) institutes. Likewise, a lower-ranked institute will receive comparatively fewer number of applications, and mostly from lower-ranked candidates. This means, cut-off in these institutes are lower making it much easier to get admission.

No, you cannot join the Central University of Haryana for B.Tech without JEE Mains. Their website states that a valid JEE Mains score is required for admission (Central University of Haryana BTech Admission) However JEE Mains is not the only way to get admitted. The university considers CUET scores for many programs, but for B.Tech specifically, they rely on JEE Mains (Central University Of Haryana Admissions). So if you are interested in joining Central University of Haryana in BTech programs then you should consider preparing for JEE mains. In addition you can contact the college directly for further information

One of the few MBA entrance exams in India without negative markings is the MAH CET. The candidate receives 1 mark for each correct answer; incorrect answers or questions that are not attempted are not penalized. There are 200 total marks available for the MBA CET, so candidates don't have to worry about getting it wrong.
