Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU) Ajmer does not require passing the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in order to admit students for BCA programs. The MDSU admissions process for courses such as BCA is determined by the results of the most recent qualifying exams; no additional entrance exams are required to be taken. Candidates who wish to pursue the BCA programme at MDSU must normally meet the prerequisite of passing the 10+2 exam from an accredited board.

With the exception of exam dates, OJEE and Special/2nd OJEE are virtually the same tests, having the same curriculum, branches, and scope. A variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in Odisha are covered by both tests, including B.Pharm, MCA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Arch, and others. The primary difference is when the exams are administered; OJEE is normally held in May, while Special/2nd OJEE is held later.
