Compared to IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak, the JIPMAT is generally considered easier. Specifically, past test-takers have rated the Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability sections as easy, while Data Interpretation is viewed as moderate

JIPMAT exam follows a specific marking system where candidates earn +4 marks for every correct answer. However, an incorrect response will lead to a negative marking of one mark (-1).

JIPMAT exam is highly competitive, with approximately 14,000 candidates competing for just 120 combined seats at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. One in hundreds of candidates is selected for admission.

JIPMAT exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT) rather than a paper-based exam. It is conducted at various testing centres situated across more than 75 cities in India. Each city may have multiple test centre.

JIPMAT exam fullform is [Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test. JIPMAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to 5-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM).

Students can get in by submitting IELTS score of 5.0 or the equivalent of a Language Certificate Level B2. The test score requirement can vary based on the course one is applying for.

For entry to MA AFAM programs, an IELTS score of 5.5, with no band less than 4.0 is needed. Students can also submit a TOEFL score (min 72) or PTE Academic score (min 50) as well.

NLU Assam CLAT Cutoff 2026 has been released till round 2 for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses for various categories under both the All India and Home State quota. 

For the SC AI category, the round closing ranks ranged between 4884 and 11777, for the LLM and BA LLB (Hons) courses, respectively. Out of the two, the LLM course proved to be more competitive for admission at NLU Assam.
