Students can get in by submitting IELTS score of 5.0 or the equivalent of a Language Certificate Level B2. The test score requirement can vary based on the course one is applying for.

For entry to MA AFAM programs, an IELTS score of 5.5, with no band less than 4.0 is needed. Students can also submit a TOEFL score (min 72) or PTE Academic score (min 50) as well.

NLU Assam CLAT Cutoff 2026 has been released till round 2 for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses for various categories under both the All India and Home State quota. 

For the SC AI category, the round closing ranks ranged between 4884 and 11777, for the LLM and BA LLB (Hons) courses, respectively. Out of the two, the LLM course proved to be more competitive for admission at NLU Assam.

For the SC AI category, the round cutoff ranged between 11777 and 4884 for the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course, respectively. As seen by the ranks, LLM is more competitive course for admission at NLU Assam
