No, APSET is not a recruitment exam, it is an eligibility exam. Candidates who clear the APSET exam become eligible to apply for the recruitment of Assistant Professors or Lecturers in the colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh SET exam only determines the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professors or Lecturers.

Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The exam will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test) to offer admissions to candidates in two-year BEd courses offered at the Colleges of Education in the state of Telangana.

The APSET 2025 exam will be held soon. Andhra University, Visakhapatnam carries out the APSET exam in eight regional centres across the state. The Andhra Pradesh SET exam is conducted for 30 subjects. The APSET Paper 1 is common for all and for Paper 2, candidates need to choose a subject from the list of 30 subjects. The APSET Paper 1 is of 100 marks and Paper 2 is of 200 marks.

KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology (KJSIEIT) accepts entrance exam scores from the following exams for admission to B.Tech: MHT CET, JEE Main, PERA CET, SAT.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the class 12th examination in PCM with 45% marks. They must also have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, and Vocational subjects.
KJSIEIT offers seats based on merit and linguistic minority quota. The expected cutoff for admission depends on the branch. For example, if you want to study computer science, your MHT CET score must be above 15
