Clearing the PSTET (Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test) exam makes you eligible to become teachers in primary and upper primary schools in the state of Punjab. However, it does not guarantee teaching job.

To qualify the PSTET, candidates are required to get the minimum qualifying marks set by the conducting authority.

For General Category Candidates
Minimum 60% marks to qualify.

For Reserved Category Candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH)
There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates, so they need to score a minimum of 55% marks to qualify.
