Yes, Candidates must have received at least a 60% cumulative score in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the +2/Intermediate test in order to meet the minimum eligibility requirements for VITEEE.

The following are the requirements to be eligible to apply to Thapar University for a B.Tech/BE degree: completion of 10+2 coursework in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational Subjects with an aggregate grade of 60% (55% for SC/ST applicants). Obtaining a Class 12 Diploma in 2022, 2023, or 2024.

Students must receive at least 20% (15% for SC/ST) in JEE (Main)-2017 in order to be eligible. 

The cutoff scores for Thapar University's B.Tech programme in computer Science and engineering in 2021 were 95.67 for a fourth category, 96.67 for a third, and 98.67 for a fourth.

Based on the information available in the internet, it is possible to reappear for the 12th board exam as a private candidate for the AHSEC Board. However, if you choose to reappear, your previous marks will not be valid and you will need to start afresh from the beginning of the exam. 

It is advisable to follow the guidelines set by the AHSEC Board. Also, ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria for reappearing as a private candidate for the 12th board exam. If you have specific concerns or questions regarding the reappearing process, it is best to reach out to the board or authorities for further clarification.
