CIET Raipur recognises legitimate test results for the MBA programme from tests including the MAT, XAT, CAT, and ATMA. CIET Guntur accepts results from the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) for engineering programmes. The College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) accepts the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to its MBA program. The Anna University conducts the TANCET. 
 
The basic qualification for an MBA course in Tamil Nadu is a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Candidates from reserved categories can have up to 5% relaxation in the overall qualifying marks.
