Here's a breakdown of your chances:

Meeting the minimum requirements:

  • Minimum JEE Mains percentile required for B.Tech. at SOET is generally 60%,  which you comfortably meet.
  • This means you have cleared the initial hurdle and your application will be further evaluated.

College Board will email you if your test centre has been closed. You can also contact the test centre directly and know whether they are open or not. In case the SAT exam centre is closed, the applicant may have to alter his/her selected centre and choose another one. This option is open for a  free switch before the applications for SAT exam are submitted. Once the SAT exam form is submitted, the exam centre change will require fee of USD 25 for a change.

Follow your regular routine and prepare according to the test date only. Check your email before two days of the test and also if possible contact your test centre and confirm whether the test is going to be conducted or not. In case of discrepancy, College Board would be informed beforehand and further details would be shared with the respective applicants. In case of SAT exam centre conducting or not conducting the exam, the applicant will be given prior information and the next best solution too.

Applicants can change the date of taking their SAT exam. But there will is no guarantee whether they can choose the same center for taking the SAT exam or not. Sometimes applicants get a spot an the same center and sometimes not get it. This is why students must make up their minds before finalizing a date or a center for taking the SAT examination.

No, there is no provision of altering SAT exam centres at the last minute. Right after registering for the SAT exam, a window opens for a small time frame where students have the option of updating their SAT exam centres or even dates but at an additional cost. Thus, applicants cannot change the SAT exam centre right before the exam and should be careful while choosing the right exam centre so that they reach the centre within time from their home.

CTET exam is conducted twice a year. You can appear for CTET paper 1 and CTET paper 2 in different cycles of the exam.

Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to teach at Primary level (Class 1 to Class 5).

Paper 2 is for those candidates want to teach at Elementary level (Class 6 to Class 8).

Candidates who want to teach from Class 1 to Class 8 have to clear both CTET Paper 1 and CTET Paper 2.

It is pen and paper test conducted in offline mode. You have to clear both papers only if you want yourself to be eligible to teach both at the Primary and Elementary levels.

No, usually Australian universities do not release SAT cutoffs, and some of them may not require them also. Only a handful universities of Australia accept SAT scores from international students for admission. The ones who accept SAT scores, may or may not publish SAT cut-offs or minimum SAT score requirements. Even if some universities do that, they give it for a specific course and not for all courses offered at that level in the university in question. Thus, be careful while checking admission requirements.
