The general selection process for B.Tech in India involves the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The minimum JEE Main score required for admission to B.Tech courses varies depending on the institute and the state. For example, candidates need to score at least 75% marks in class 12 or be in the top 20 percentile to get admission in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. For candidates belonging to a reserved category, a minimum of 65% marks is required to get admission to different undergraduate courses offered at NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs. The JEE Main exam is held for three separate courses: BTech, BArch, and BPlan.

Yes a score of 85 in TOEFL is good for Vistula University. Mostly a score of 72 is needed for the university eligibility. It has also the requirement of IELTS score 5.5 and above. However, for a guarenteed selection score of more than 100 is required. As a result, even while a score of 85 may be sufficient to get admission to the university, a higher score can be required to qualify for a particular scholarship or to have an advantage over other applicants throughout the application process.

Yes, there is a negative marking scheme in the UPCATET exam. For each correct answer applicants will be given 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1/4th of the total marks or 1 mark will be deducted.

The calculation of the score for the respective programmes will be taken into consideration by taking into account all correct & incorrect answers. After preparing the list of all candidates the authorities will prepare the list of successful applicants based on the availability of seats
