Yes, the school conducts its own in-house entrance test, namely Asian School Entrance Test (ASET). The test aims to assess the general awareness, basic mathematics, reasoning and communication skills of the students.

IIM Trichy accepts CAT as the primary exam for MBA admissions, and it does not release CAT cutoffs in the public domain. The cutoffs are exclusively accessible only via account login to candidates who have appeared for the CAT exam. To check IIM Trichy CAT cutoff 2023, candidates must visit the official website of IIMCAT and login through their registered ID and password. 

The qualifying CAT cutoff of IIM Trichy is the minimum percentile that candidates must meet to be eligible for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round while the final CAT cutoff is the percentile that candidates must obtain to participate in the WAT/GD-PI round. The former is released with the admission criteria of the institute before the CAT exam while the latter is released after the declaration of CAT result. To take admission to the University of Cambridge, the applicants have to take either the GMAT or GRE. As such, there is no specific score range but the university’s current reported average GMAT score is around 687 with the median at 700  (Mid-80% range is 630-740). Note that the GMAT or GRE score must be valid at the point of application (scores are valid for five years).

GMAT score is one of the many data points considered for providing admission to IIM Indore. Given the emphasis on diversity, nature of work experience, educational background, statement of purpose, sponsorship status (sabbatical/industry sponsored) all these play a critical role in the selection of candidates. The admissions committee decides the cutoff every year. Currently, the institute accepts overall GMAT cutoff for providing admission. Candidates shortlisted based on GMAT score are further called for a personal interview round.
