INI SS 2023 admit card has been released online on October 31. Those who submit and fulfill all the eligibility criteria are issued the admit card for the exam. The admit card contains crucial details including date, time, and address of exam centre.  Candidates will have to download INI SS 2023 admit card from the official website by providing login details. The admit card must be carried to the exam centre on the exam day. Candidates are advised to read all the instructions given on the admit card for INI SS 2023. INI SS 2023 exam (stage-1) is scheduled to be held on November 6 in computer-based mode. According to dates for INI SS 2023, the registration had started on September 29. Candidates had to register online and submit aplication form for the exam. The last date to submit INI SS 2023 aplication form was October 17.

INI SS 2023 is held in two stages for admission to DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration. Stage-1 is written exam which is valid for all the Institutes of National Importance while stage-2 is valid for admission to AIIMS only. Candidates must qualify stage-1 written test to become eligible for stage-2 which is called deparatmental assesment.

What is INI SS?

INI SS stands for Institute of National Importance Super Speciality Entrance Test (INI SS). AIIMS conducts the exam for providing admission to Post Doctoral courses, DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration at 11 institutes including 8 AIIMS . The exam is conducted bianually, January and July session. The test paper comprises 80 multiple-choice questions and candidates get 90 minutes to answer them. AIIMS conducts two-stage admission process for admission to DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration. Candidates get admission on the basis of marks scored in both the stages. Stage-2, departmental clinical / practical / lab-based assessment is valid for admission to AIIMS only.

INI SS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification: To apply for INI SS 2023, a candidate needs to fulfil the eligibility requirements. The first and foremost requirement is the minimum qualification required to apply for a particular course. In the table given below are listed minimum eligibility requirement to be eligible for a particular DM/MCh/MD(HA) course.

Candidates must also have completed the postgraduate medical qualification on or before January 31, 2023. Those who are complete the basic qualification after the said date will not be eligible for the January session of INI SS 2023.

Age Limit: The candidates who are applying for the AIIMS DM/MCh/MD(HA) courses must not be older than 35 years as on January 1, 2022. There is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

INI SS 2023 Registration/Application Process

Candidates who wish to apply for the INI SS 2022 entrance test had to register on the official website of the institute, aiimsexams.ac.in. Only those candidates who complete the registration process can fill INI SS 2022 application form for admission to AIIMS DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration courses. Candidates must note that AIIMS accept only online applications for INI SS 2022 July session. Candidates had to fill all details and pay the application fee, INR 4000 + transaction charges to submit the application form for the exam. Candidates could choose three options as exam centre out of the list of cities released by AIIMS. Options of exam centres can be chosen while filling the application form for AIIMS DM/MCh/MD(HA) courses.

INI SS 2023 Admit Card

INI SS 2023 admit card has been released online on October 31. AIIMS activated the link on its official website, aiimsexams.ac.in in for candidates who registered successfully for the exam. Candidates will have to download the admit card for DM/MCh/MD(HA) courses by logging into their account, using the credentials generated at the time of registration. The admit card contains important details including name and address of the allotted exam centre. Details given on the hall ticket must be cross checked to avoid any discrepancy. If candidates find any discrepancy, exam officials must be contacted immediately.

INI SS 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam for January session is conducted in two stages:

Stage I: Written Exam

The first stage of the entrance test is a written examination was conducted online. This stage can be considered as a screening examination. The written examination will have 80 multiple choice questions of 80 marks. Candidates will be given 90 minutes to attempt the test paper. As per the marking scheme, candidates get 1 mark for every right answer and deduction of -1/3 mark for wrong answer. 

Stage II: Departmental Assessment

Candidates who qualify in the first stage of the AIIMS INI SS 2023 exam will be called for a Departmental Assessment. To qualify in the first stage, candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in the examination. Admission to DM/MCh/MD(HA) courses of AIIMS will be on the basis of the total marks obtained in stages one and two.

INI SS 2022 Result

AIIMS Delhi will release the result of the entrance test on its official website on November 11. The list of provisionally qualified candidates will be uploaded on the official website in PDF format. There will be two merit lists, a common merit list for all INIs and one for AIIMs only. Candidates who qualify for the examination are called for a Departmental Assessment. Candidates have to score 50 percent in stage -1 to become eligible to participate in the second stage, the Departmental Assessment. Departmental Assessment will be valid for seat allotment at AIIMS only. To qualify for AIIMS Seat allocation a candidate must obtain 50 percent or more marks in Stage-I & Stage-II combined. In case candidate gets marks more than 50 percent in Stage-I but less than 50 percent marks in Stage I & II combined, he/she will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS Seats. 

INI SS 2023 counselling 

INI SS 2023 Counselling will be held by AIIMS in online mode. Candidates included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the INI SS Counselling. Candidates have to register online and exercise choice for colleges and speciality to participate in the counselling round. Registration can be done by logging to MyPage with credentials used to fill application form. A total of 3 rounds will be held for seat allocation for INI SS 2023. After the allocation of seats, candidates will have to choose out of following options to provide their willingness for participation in the further rounds of INI SS 2023 counselling.

Option 1. ACCEPT allotted Institute and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds for INI SS 2023.

Option 2. ACCEPT allotted Institute but want to participate in the next round of counselling.

If candidate choose option 2 then they will have to participate in this round and accept the seat allotted to them in particular institute. The Institute allocated in first round shall be considered vacated and the same shall be automatically allocated to other candidates in order of merit. Failure to join the upgraded Institute shall lead to impositions of penalty of Rs. 3.00 Lakh. There is no option to reject the seat in counselling round.

A. Candidates who have enrolled into the AIIMS MD(HA) course will be selected for the post of Junior Resident. The emolument for such candidates will be Rs 77,100 plus allowance as admissible under the revised pay-scale as per 7 th CPC.
