Queen's University accepts the IELTS Academic and TOEFL internet-based tests for direct admission to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. For IELTS Academic, candidates need to score 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test and for TOEFL iBT the university requires 80 as the minimum marks followed by different section scores given below:

  • Listening- 17
  • Reading - 18
  • Speaking - 20
  • Writing – 17

For MBA programme, LIBA accepts CAT score. Following steps are followed to register for CAT online: 

  • Click on website.
  • Create a 'new registration'.
  • Submit name, date of birth, nationality and number.
  • Log in with ID sent on email.
  • Fill application form.
  • Submit personal and academic information.
  • Upload recent passport-size photo and scanned signature.
  • Choose course.
  • Select test city for exam centre allotment
  • Pay application fee

Ideally, six to eight hours daily is what experts recommend for IIFT exam preparation, but since working professionals can’t devote that many hours, they should at least strive to devote four hours every day. They can study for longer hours on Saturday and Sunday. By striking a balance between weekdays and weekends, working professionals can crack the IIFT exam. It is just that they will have to study after work.
