Since your JEE Mains and JEE Advanced ranks are good enough to get a seat in one of the IITs. Yes, you can take admission in JMI if you have only given the second attempt of JEE Mains. But your rank in the second attempt should be good enough to get a seat in the desired course. In the year 2022, the cut-off for B.Tech in Computer Science at JMI was 99.600 for the general category and 93.200 for the reserved category. So you would need to score at least 99.600 in the JEE Mains in order to get a seat in B.Tech in Computer Science at JMI.
