No international students applying for UG programs at NYIT do not require to submit SAT scores for majority courses. However, there may be some courses that require SAT therefore, students are advised to go to the course page for detailed information. SAT is an MCQ type of test that is used to measure school students readiness for college and provide universities and colleges with a common data point to compare with all other applicants.

Majority programs offered by NYIT are taught in English. If you are international student whose first language is not English then you are required to prove proficiency in English language. University accepts all major English language test scores as proof of proficiency. Min English language requirements for international students are IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 79, PTE 53 and DET 105.
