Candidates who do not belong to West Bengal will have to choose their three preferred WBJEE exam zones from the available options - Howrah (Salkia/ Bally/ Uttarpara), Kolkata Salt Lake/ New Town (Salt Lake/ Lake Town/ New Town/ Rajar Hat, South Kolkata (Ballygaunge/ Into Park/ Bhowanipore/ Tollygaunge/ Jadavpur), West Kolkata (Joka/ Behala/ Alipore/ Chetla/ Khidirpore/ Budge), Paschim Burdwan (Asansol) and Paschim Burdwan (Durgapur). More details about the WBJEE exam centres will be released online by the authorities.

On allotment of a seat and payment of the seat acceptance fee, candidates have to upload the required documents on the official website. Candidates are required to exercise one of the following willingness when they report to the RC: Floating: If they wish to be considered in the next round for all of their higher preferred choices. Sliding: If they wish to be considered in the next round for their higher preferred choices only within the institute allotted to them. Freezing: If they are satisfied with the currently allotted seat and not interested in their higher preferred choices in the subsequent round. Check more related questions:

Yes, students can appear for IBSAT exam and mock test through mobile. However, for better exam day experience student must take IBSAT online exam through laptop/desktop.
- Put phone on 'do not disturb' mode while giving the test to avoid any incoming call during the exam.
- Do not take any call
- Have an additional mobile phone to contact helpdesk for any kind of help.

After declining/rejecting the offer (s) in a particular round, you will not be considered for the same offer (s). In case, you have given higher preferences in M.Tech. Application, then you may be considered for the higher preferences in the subsequent round (s) of offers based on the availability of vacancies and merit list, within the rules of that institute. Also, after the last/final round at COAP no offers will be available at COAP. For any offer/admission related matter, candidates must visit the respective Academic Institutes Admission Portal.

To appear for IBSAT online proctored examination, candidates must:
- Login through the link shared on the registered email address and enter unique ID and Date of Birth to access the IBSAT exam
- Complete the verification process. In the first level verify facial photo and in the second level of the verification process, candidate's will have to display their IBSAT hall ticket 2026 and valid ID proof when asked.
- Read the exam instructions carefully.
- Attempt the IBSAT exam online.

IBSAT 2026 exam will be held in remote proctored home. Candidates can take the test from any location with good internet connection. To appear for IBSAT online proctored examination, must have fulfilled the technical requirements to appear for exam.
