According to CBSE, the passing marks in Class 12 are 33%. If any student is not able to achieve 33% marks and misses out by one mark or so, then the board awards grace marks to students.

More than 80 thousand students appear for NIOS 10th exam 2026. 86,776 students appeared for NIOS 10th exam in Oct 2025.

NIOS allows students to attempt NIOS 10th board exam twice in a year. NIOS board exams are held in April/May and Oct/Nov. 

NIOS 10th board exam is not an easy exam since students are learning via distant education mode. We cannot say that it is easy to clear NIOS exam. They need to work hard to clear the NIOS 10th board exam.

NIOS board do not release toppers list after the NIOS 10th result 2026. Any score more than 80% is considered as good score in the NIOS 10th result.

A good marks in NIOS Class 10 exam is generally considered to around 80 percent or higher. Marks above 90 per cent is considered excellent. 

80% score in NIOS 10th exam is considered as a good mark to get into reputed colleges. Students can apply for merit seat for 12th in top schools/colleges. They can also join for Polytechnic or ITI courses. 

Yes, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Noida does conduct entrance tests for admissions to its programmes. The university conducts the following exams:

• UGET - Undergraduate Entrance Test for BTech (lateral entry), BSc CS, BBA, BCA, BCom, Diploma After Class 10
• PGET - Postgraduate Entrance Test for MSc, MCA, MTech, MCom, MDes

There are no mandatory entrance exams that candidates need to appear for in order to qualify for East West College of Management BBA admissions. The institute selects candidates based on Class 12 board merit only.
