there is no ceiling on the number of attempts for CDS. But the candidates can only appear for the exam until the age of 24 or 25 depending upon the force they are applying for. Like army navy and air force

NDA is an entry level for defence for all wings like army navy and air force the exam conducted by UPSC and there is no online exam conducted. It is offline mode exam.

When you preparing for UPSC you need to read every thing in a syllabus but a big part of UPSC is related to history and modern history so it's useful if you chose arts and learn every thing then you need to only revice the syllabus and you save time in completing syllabus
