Of course some seats are reserved for all India quota and are filled based on ranking of JEE Mains. Hello Harkirat Singh, the education system of US is really different than ours. Sometimes if they feel the candidate is good then they can concession in any thing. In addition this keeps changing from year to year. In view of this I would strongly recommend that you should approach an agency that is dealing with sending students to US for PG. Hello Jaya Bharati, let me tell you that almost 50% seats across India in engineering colleges could not be filled up last year. What does it mean? It means you can definitely get admission. But where is a big question. Then, after one completes graduation from such colleges, will there nlve job offers? No one knows.
