The exam is mainly conducted in the two phases
Phase 1 - The exam is conducted in Aptitude that is common for all students whereas the questions asked from the candidates is same in all the section
Phase 2 - The exam is conducted in the Subject selected by the candidates for lectureship programme

It is a myth that people working for 9-10 hours per day cannot devote their time to the preparation of UGC NET. It is not only possible to prepare during your work phase but also possible to crack the exam ultimately. I am going to share a few tips that might help you to prepare while you work. First, you need to be consistent in your preparation. Time constraint is not a big problem if you are studying every day for the exam. Chart out a timetable where you can divide the topics of your concerned subject into time slots. Finish the topics on time and do not keep backlogs. The second thing is the smart selection of NTA

There is no separate cutoff for CAT. Cutoff of CAT is included in All India Rank cutoff. It means whatever the cutoff for AIR will be for CAT. Cut off was for AI seats of previous year 99.94%. In last list, it can be little low but not too much. I personally think this is not great way to give admission to students who want to take admission through CAT examination but DTE follow the process I told you.
