No. Its no at all compulsory. But if you are thinking to do Masters in India, then GATE. Is the best. Even if you spend a year in preparation, no problem, go for GATE. With out GATE.

Your academic profile is very impressive and deserve for IIMs. The admissions in IIMs for PGPM are based on percentile secured in CAT exam. IIMs considered the sectional cutoff also despite from the overall CAT cutoff. The minimum sectional CAT cutoff prescribed by IIM-Ahmadabad is given below.
1. Verbal and Reading Comprehension percentile rank (PVRC) : 70
2. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning percentile rank (PDILR) : 70
3. Quantitative Aptitude percentile rank (PQA) : 70

No, GRE is not mandatory to study Masters in Germany. International students interested in studying in Germany have to follow the eligibility requirements demanded by German institutions. Most of the universities in Germany require the student to have a 4-year undergraduate degree for admission to its MS courses.

Joint entrance exam JEE Main is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency for admission in IITs, NITs and GFTIs for Engineering and B.Arch courses. While the CET can be state or University level entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Technical education of concerned state or University itself for admission in Engineering, B.Arch and Pharmacy courses. The acceptability of JEE Main score is nationwide while the CET can be applicable for University/State level only.
