To be eligible for the B.Tech programme at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore

  1. applicants must pass Class from a board
  2.  minimum percentage required is 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)
  3. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, with Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Biology as one of the subjects.
  4. International Baccalaureate students require a minimum of 26 credits, while Cambridge A-Level students must complete three subjects at the 'A' level.

The final selection is based on the scores and ranks obtained by candidate in COMPEDK UGET, Uni-GAUGE, KCET, or Jain Entrance Test (JET).

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore is a good choice for pursuing a B.Tech degree. The university is graded "A+"by NAAC, it has been ranked 68th in India for engineering by NIRF in 2023. It offers several B.Tech programs which have been accredited by NBA. This indicates industry relevance and quality in the education.

The fee bifurcation for M.Tech at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain Deemed-to-be University is given below:

  1. Tuition Fee: INR 3.5 lakhs to 4.2 Lakhs for the whole course depending upon the specializations
  2. Hostel Fee: INR 3.40 Lakh
  3. One-time payment: INR 20,000

So the total fee starts from 7.10 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs for a 2 year course, depending upon the specialization selected.

To be eligible for the admission to B.Tech at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, the candidate must pass a 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, or Biology. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, offers a wide range of B.Tech and M.Tech programs with a curriculum aligned with industry needs.

The admission to the B.Tech at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain Deemed-to-be University, is based on COMEDK UGET exam scores. The specific cutoff lists for each exam will likely be released after the respective exam results are announced. So probably the cut-off will be released after the exam results are out. You can expect in between June - July month.

The final edit window for FET 2023 opened on February 19. According to the schedule, the deadline for FET 2023 final edit window was February 21, 2024. Candidates could modify incorrect images uploaded with FET application form 2023 via the final edit window. Final edit window is considered the last opportunity to submit application form online. FET 2023 admit card was uploaded online on February 27, 2024.

The fee structure at FET MRIIRS (Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies) can vary based on the program, level of study, and other factors. The institute offers various courses, and each programme may have its own fee structure.  For B.Tech. it will cost you around Rs. 8,86,000 somewhere, for B.Sc. Geology honors it will cost you around Rs. 3,78,000, for M.Sc. it will cost you around Rs. 2,52,000 and for M.Tech. it will cost you around Rs. 3,48,000. This all is according to my estimate at this time.

People's and my personal opinion on FET MRIIRS for B.Tech. is that it is a value for money college. Teachers are highly professional and course curriculum is updated with the latest advancement in the field. The way of making understand the concepts to students through PPT is best. Best teachers are present here. College has well connection with big MNCs and what I felt is our college can give 100% placement to students. The average package is INR 4,00,000 LPA and the highest is INR18,000,00 LPA. Our CRC department has best connection with experience. Overall, it was a best experience and they have everything what students want to get
