Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for the particular programme they desire to enrol for in order to be admitted to Banaras Hindu University (BHU). BHU provides numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programmes in a variety of subject areas. The requirements may change based on the programme and level of study. The following general requirements for admission to BHU are listed: B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.) undergraduate courses: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam, or an equivalent test, from a recognised board with the minimum grade requirement and required subjects for each course. For some programmes, candidates might also need to take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main or the BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET).Courses at the postgraduate level (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.Tech., etc.) Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with the appropriate minimum percentage in the relevant field from an accredited university. The BHU Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) is required for enrollment in various postgraduate programmes. Research Programmes (Ph.D.): Candidates must hold a master's degree in the pertinent discipline with a minimum grade point average as determined by the department. Typically, a written exam and/or interview are required for admission to Ph.D. programmes. Professional programmes (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, LLB, etc.): Admission is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for medical programmes and the BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) for LLB. unique Requirements: Some courses may have particular eligibility standards or demands, such supplementary entry exams, job experience, or unique skills. Banaras Hindu University is one of the top-ranking universities in the country. As per the NIRF rankings 2023, the university is ranked at fifth position among the top universities in India. Moreover, as per the BHU NIRF report 2023, 480 UG (three-year) students were placed out of 3,564. The median package given to the placed candidates stood at INR 8 LPA. This was also the highest median package offered in the last three years. Moreover, as per media reports, the overall the highest and average package offered during BHU placements 2023 stood at INR 1.2 crore per annum and INR 23.13 LPA. The BHU BCom application process begins with the CUET-UG registrations. Hence, aspirants need to apply through the official website of NTA. To submit the form successfully, candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category). The steps to apply in BHU are as follows:

1. Visit the official website of CUET-UG  (cuet.samarth.ac.in) and click on the 'New Registration' tab and read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
2. Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details such as personal, educational qualifications etc. 
3. Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
4. Select courses and BHU as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.
