NIFT is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The exam is conducted once every year and has TWO parts: Written Exams - It comprise the GAT and CAT. The GAT paper is mandatory for all programs, while only B.Des and M.Des candidates need to take the CAT. The exam is generally in objective form having general ability, general knowledge and mathematics question. Paper Carry negative marks for each answer wrong .

The M.Sc at JD need minimum criteria of 12 with a minimum marks 45%. They also offer may courses in masters .The duration of Masters is 2 years . Selection is based on merit basis. However, the seat reservations may vary for SC, ST And OBC. Even the minimum marks and the marks in merit list may also vary for them they ar generally lesser than for the general candidate. The fee structure for master may be approximately 1.30 Lacs per year may depend on the courses.

JD institute of Fashion technology and Aditya college of design studies are equal on fees basis . Whereas courses offered may vary like we have courses like photography, product designing, pc graphics, set design, vasty designs etc. in Aditya college of design studies and courses offered by JD are fashion designing and management, interior designing and product designing. Fees structure are for UG in JD fees is approximately 1.15 lakh/year and in Aditya college 1.1lakh/year . JD is somewhat expensive but the quality of education is provided up to the mark in both the universities.
