Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in any discipline (Science, Humanities, or Arts) are eligible for admission. Further, Candidates appearing in their Class 12 exam are also eligible to apply for the IIAD entrance exam. Check here the detailed exam pattern of IIAD entrance exam.

Pearl Academy Mumbai offers UG and PG Diploma in various streams like Fashion Design & Technology, Interior Design and Product Design, etc. When it comes to placements, the institute has good record. The course-wise details are yet to be released. The overall highest and average package secured by the batch 2025 was INR 26 LPA and INR 4.8 LPA.

A four-year undergraduate program called the Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design (BDes) teaches students how to create clothing and accessories. At the 10+2 level, students must receive a minimum of 50% in the general category and 55% in the SC/SC/OBC category. The required score, however, may differ according on the college.
A route to becoming a fashion designer is the B.Des in Fashion Design program at AAFT. Students will discover the value of excellence.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) hasn't notified that taking the mock tests is mandatory for admission to the B.Des programme or appearing in SEED 2026. So, it is the discretion of the candidate whether they appear in the mocks or not. That being said it is recommended that the candidate takes the mock tests.
It is because the exercise will help the candidate check out the technicalities of the online proctored exam. This in turn will ensure that there are no unnecessary surprises on exam day.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the mock tests in online mode only. There will be no option to take the mocks in offline mode. The mock tests will be uploaded on the SID admission portal - sid.ed.in. To take the mock tests, the candidate will have to log in to the portal using candidate credentials.
SID will conduct two mock test; the 1st mock will be conducted on December 17, followed by the 2nd mock test on December 18, 2023.
