Fashion Design

The fee structure for B.Des. in Fashion Design at Indus University is INR 10.44 lakhs. The B.Des. in Fashion Design program at Indus University is a 4-year full-time undergraduate degree course. The course is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in the fashion industry.

To pursue design training, students must have creative skills and be able to cope with situations which are expected of them by the profession. Candidates passed 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50%. And also 50% in academics of 10th and graduation required 50% to pass out from the university is mandatory.

In case of the B. Des and B.FTech programmes, the candidates should be less than 24 years as on July 1 of the admission year. There is relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories. However, there is no age limit for applying to the postgraduate programmes at NIFT. When applying for admission to design courses at the NIFTs, the candidate must also carefully go through the academic requirements. Note that even if a candidate qualifies the NIFT Entrance Exam but doesn't meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he or she will not be considered for admission.

The application edit window for NID DAT 2024 will open soon after the application form closes. Using the application edit window, the candidate will be able to edit details like their address, applied category, exam centre, etc. However, the candidate can't change the Programme Applied in, Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number, and Registered Email ID. Also, if the candidate changes their applied category, the applicable application fees have to be paid by the candidate. Further, no refund of fees will be made in case of any category change.  

At the postgraduate level, the college offers two-year full-time MSc and MBA programmes to students. At the undergraduate level, the Institute of Fashion and Communication Technology offers a three-year full-time BSc programme to students.The institute also provides three-year PhD and one-year full-time Diploma courses to students. PhD is offered in two specialisations. The specialisations in which these PhD programmes are provided are Fashion Management and Fashion Communication.
