However, the university does conduct an entrance exam called the Indus Design Aptitude Test (IDAT) to select candidates for the programme. The IDAT consists of two parts: an aptitude test and a drawing test. The aptitude test is a multiple-choice test that assesses the candidate's knowledge of design principles and concepts. B.Des interior designing & B. Des in interior designing (bachelor's in interior designing) are different courses. B. Des is more of a professional course with practical & drafting skills with more job opportunities & scope whereas Lifestyle Accessory Design is a discipline under design that creates accessories such as hats, jewelry, scarves, belts, handbags, and watches; all of the small details that complete a fashionable outfit. Jewellery and leather designing are a part of accessory design.
