The NIFT 2024 application fee is category-specific. The application fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category. Meanwhile, those belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD Category need to pay only INR 1,500. The application fee has to be paid online using net banking, credit, or debit cards. The application fee will have to be paid at the time of filling out the NIFT 2024 application form. Note that payment made using demand draft will not be accepted.

The important dates of NIFT 2026 will cover the entire admission schedule of NIFT 2026 admission process. The important dates will therefore cover events like release of admission notification, application form, and admit cards, conduct of the exam, declaration of results, counseling schedule, and date of commencement of classes. The candidate by consulting the important dates will know in advance about an upcoming event and so will be able to plan in advance. To make corrections in the form, the candidate needs to follow these steps: Go to the NIFT 2024 admission portal If the application correction window is open, the corresponding link will be activated Click on the link Log in using candidate credentials Upon log in, make the necessary change Submit the form after making the changes.

The candidate will have to select an exam centre for NIFT 2026 when filling out the application form.

After completing the registration process, log in to the application portal and click on the exam centre selection option. Then select your preferred city from the drop down menu.

The NIFT 2026 exam will be conducted across 82 centers in India. Note that each of these exam cities may have one or more exam centres.

The candidate can fill out the application form even if they don't meet the NIFT 2024 eligibility criteria. But note that the documents and the information provided by the candidate in the application form will be cross checked. And if any discrepancy is found, the candidate can be disqualified at any stage of the application process. So, it is recommended that the candidate carefully goes through the prescribed eligibilty criteria before filling out the form. Note that the NIFT 2024 eligibility criteria is programme-specific.

Yes, the National Institute of Fashion Technology will allow candidates with late fees. The late fee application window will open once the deadline to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with regular fee closes. The start and last date to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with late fee will be notified by the institute before the regular application form closes or sometime thereabout. The late fee for NIFT 2024 will be INR 5,000. The late fee has to be paid in addition to the application fee, which is INR 3000 for open category candidates.
