The NIFT admission committee may take student queries in case the NIFT exam is conducted as a remote-proctored exam. In this case, special hotlines may be created to help the candidate get their system in place. But note that as of now, there is no notification yet whether the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct mock tests or not. The institute will release the relevant notification, if needed, on its official website, once the admission process gets underway. In the NIFT 2022 exam, when the exam was held in a remote-proctored mode, candidate were allowed to ask queries during the mock test.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) may or may not conduct mock tests. So, the candidate can take mock tests conducted by coaching institutes or by online outlets to practice for the exam. Typically, the more mock tests a candidate takes, the better it is from an exam point of view. But note that mock tests are meant to be taken closer to the exam, to simply get into exam mode. So, in the early stages of one's exam preparation, one must make it a point to solve sample papers and previous years question papers.

Note that during COVID 19, the mock tests were used as a tool to help candidates get accustomed to the application and the process as the NIFT 2022 exam was held as a remote-based exam. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) didn't conduct any mock tests for NIFT 2025 exam. So, it is unlikely that NIFT will conduct any mock tests for NIFT 2026 exam. Note that the NIFT 2026 exam will be conducted in a centre-based mode. The Creative Ability Test CAT will be held offline, while the General Ability Test GAT will be conducted in a computer-based mode.

Yes, candidates did face some technical issues during the GAT paper. Affected candidates either weren't able to complete the paper or not able to attempt the paper at all. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducted fresh exams for these candidates. Note that fresh exam for the GAT paper was conducted for students in these exam centres:
MBC THANE - MUMBAI
VIDHAN PUBLIC SCHOOL - GHAZIABAD
M. P English SCHOOL - VARANASI
P. T. SALAGRAM - NOIDA.

The NIFT 2023 written exam included a number of questions related to shapes and lines. There was a also a question on compic strip, which was pretty easy. The GAT paper included a number of paragraph-based questions. Also, the paper has more questions on English and very few questions on GK. One question from the GK section was related to ISRO. Logical reasoning, which included the maximum number of questions, included a number of math-based questions. The CAT paper included questions related to letterboxes, phones, an automobile, etc.
