Sorry to say but most of the universities and colleges including the Government College demand fees of more than 2 Lacs for the course for B.Sc. in textile design. But there is a Diploma course in textile design which you can do which has a course fees of around 25K for the whole two years. I would recommend you to go to some government college like BHU for this.

You get admissions on the basis of VITEEE and in 12th the criteria were 65% so if you cleared VITEEE you will get admission.

In Noida, there is only one college for B.Des fashion designing course, that is Satyam Institute of fashion designing, but it is only for girls.

Yes, you can pursue fashion design with a Diploma from a college/university/institution or in some cases with just a high school Diploma, specific internships and a lot of hard work.

Careers in fashion are highly competitive, hopeful fashion designers must have a keen sense of business. You must know how to work with a team on projects, interact with different levels of management, and be able to work with difficult clients. Yes,12th Arts/ Commerce streams are good enough for pursuing Fashion Management related courses. However, Bachelor of Fashion Technology B.FTech of NIFT required 12th with PCM. So, criteria may differ and it depends upon the colleges.
