My cousin sister is pursuing B. Design (Fashion) from LPU itself. She has discussed few points with me about her course:-

They are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. Students are given various Live-projects during the course of the programme to create commercially viable designs. School of Design organized Face Painting and nail painting competition for students to showcase their creative talents. So, LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training.
