You may take the entrance exam for NIT and enrol for course in fashion designing. Several other institutes like Symbiosis has their own entrance exam.

To become a fashion designer, choose a college to do a degree in fashion designing. Bachelor degrees are provided in both science and technology.
If you are doing 12th in science group, choose fashion designing in B.Tech or in B.Sc.
If you need a good job, do PG also.
Many entrance exam also available for doing fashion designing course in reputed colleges for that you need to prepare in advance.

If you want to become a professional fashion designer, you need to pursue a degree in fashion designing. It would be better if you do complete a PG.
Good knowledge of the subject and field can be received when you choose a college with the internship programme.
Internship programme gives you better clarity about the field. So try to choose a college with internship programme.

Create your portfolio and share it with the designer under whom you want to work. It is very important to highlight your USP.

First, study well and successfully complete your class XII and then apply at various top fashion designing schools. Fill the entrance examination form beforehand and prepare well. You should go for NIFT try for campuses such Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Your other options are The Istituto Marangoni, and L'Institut Superieur des Arts and Appliques. All the best.

Hi Rohtash,
You could pursue either a diploma course or certificate course on fashion designing in ITI College. But if you are more interested in fashion technology, then your options are reduced to only certificate courses.

To get into any good college, you will have to appear for the entrance test .You need to give an entrance exam to get admission in NIFT. The basic eligibility criteria to pursue in National Institute of Fashion Technology is successfully completing 12th. Admissions are done on the basis of an entrance examination, i.e. CAT and GAT. After clearing, there is a situation test followed by a group discussion or counselling.
