To apply for BSc course at Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. For more details, students can check the points mentioned below:
- For regular entry candidates should have passed Class 12 in Arts, Science or Commerce stream.
- If the candidates have completed three year Diploma in ADFT, Textiles, Handlooms or Costume Design & Fashion, then the student are eligible for Lateral Entry where the student can start the course directly from third semester.

The admission exam for NIFT is the National Institute of Fashion Technology entrance exam, which is given once a year. Applicants must sit for and pass the NIFT entrance exam in 2024 in order to be admitted to NIFT. After completing the NIFT 2024 entrance exam, candidates would be able to enter NIFT campuses. Applicants can now view the 2024 NIFT admission exam dates by visiting the official website. The announcement of the 2024 NIFT entrance exam took place on December 5, 2023.
