Yes, you can appear for the M.Des programme in Footwear Design & Production at FDDI. Candidate is required to be a Graduate in Footwear / LGAD / Design / Engineering / Production / Technology or any other related programme in order to be eligible for the said programme.

Masters in footwear designing requires a candidate to have a Bachelors in design as well. Unfortunately, you cannot apply for the course.

The FDDI exam is not that difficult to crack. You need to give time and practice your quantitative ability, reasoning ability and English language well. Apart from these, you also need to practice your design skills as there is a Design Aptitude Test as well. Your creativity and drawing skills will be seen at this stage. You must practice the previous years' papers to prepare yourself well for the exam. FDDI provides Master's degree in three streams i.e., Footwear Design & Production, CAD and MBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandise. For the first two courses, a candidate is required to be a graduate in Footwear/LGAD/Design / Engineering/Production or Technology or any other related programme. For MBA in retail and fashion merchandise, a graduate in any stream can apply.
