The Design Aptitude Test comprises of questions on topics like visual design, subjects of design, environmental sensitivity, thematic colour arrangement, memory drawing, proportions and perspective, drawing skills, animation and abstract symbolism, general mental ability, composition and communication skills as well as the creative ability of an aspirant. It is conducted to test an aspirant on the below-mentioned abilities:KnowledgeComprehensionAnalysisCreativityVisualisation.

Preparation Tips for the FDDI:
Time management is an important factor for clearing the AIST exam where 150 questions have to be attempted within 150 minutes. Candidates get one minute to answer one question. Candidates should distribute time equally based on the number of questions featured under each section. Mock tests are available online which can adequately provide an outline regarding exam pattern. The eligibility criteria for FDDI entrance exam states that candidates will be eligible to apply for UG programmes the design college if they have successfully cleared their 10+2/intermediate studies. It may be noted that aspirants who are appearing for their 10+2 examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply for admissions.
