B.Sc in Geology, Fergusson College also is one of the premier institute in the field of Science in Pune. Traditionally the college set a high cutoff percentage to join this program. The percentage of cutoff was around 95.60 % for the students passing through the Maharashtra State Board for Bsc Geology for the academic year 2022 - 2023. If you are from the PUC Karnataka board then your percentage system will be considered. The new B.Sc in Geology at Fergusson College has a varying cut-off but for the Science streams the cut-off percentage is 96.40/500. For applying to D Pharma, the candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology along with English as a medium of communication from any central or state education board with at least 55 % marks . Your score is quite reasonable for getting an opportunity to enter Fergusson College where you may take BA Psychology or BA French courses after passing such examinations as class 10th with a grade of 91.60% and class 12th with the grade of 85.33%. It totally depends upon the merit list and cut-off given by the college, it also depends on the course which you want to get admission some courses have less cut-off and some have high. You can get admission to the college as its eligiblity criteria is 50 percent in boards but it totally depends on the course and merit list.

With 70 percent and above their is high chance you'll get admission there.

Shivaji University and Fergusson College offer a three-year full-time BSc in course with specialisations spread across various fields. Shivaji University fee for the BSc in Agriculture is INR 15,250. On the other hand, the Fergusson College fee for BSc in Agriculture is INR 26,430. Talking about the placements, both institutions median package stands close. So, considering both the fees and placements, a BSc from Shivaji University is better than Fergusson College.

Fergusson College has both merit-based and entrance exam-based admissions for its programs. 

For undergraduate (UG) courses like B.Sc, BA, B.Voc etc. is based on merit in the qualifying 12th standard examination. There is no separate entrance exam for UG admissions. For postgraduate (PG) courses like M.Sc, MA etc., the college conducts its own online entrance examination. Candidates need to appear and qualify in this Fergusson College entrance exam to be considered for PG admissions.
