Fergusson College is the best college in Pune. It started off around last decade of nineteenth century. This college has a great reputation as repository of huge knowledge. It's instructors too do full Justice and teach with their hearts out. Academically it offers the best in fact due to this the college has been granted autonomy indicating trust in the management by the authorities.St Mira's college on the other hand was founded in seventees. Sadhu Vaswani mission operates this women only college in Pune. This college too has earned laurels for it's quality of teaching and making girls who enter into very good independent thinking women at passing out. To tell frankly, there is nothing to distinguish between these colleges. Both are excellent. However, some girls if preferring only women college can opt for this. I think only consideration should be easy commutation from home to the college everyday.
