Applicants are advised to reach at least 45-50 minutes before the commencement of the FMGE exam. Since the exam is conducted in online mode, students need to be involved in the biometric process; hence, they need to reach the exam centre beforehand.

OCI students can apply for PG admissions in India based on entrance exams like NEET PG (Medical), GATE (M.Tech), CAT (MBA) or university specific tests.Medical PG (MD/MS) NEET PG is mandatory. FMGE or NeXT is required only for foreign medical graduates not for those with an Indian MBBS degree. Always check official website for guidance.

Overall there will be 100 questions asked in the exam from Pre and Para Clinical Subject. Out of these 100 questions around 17 questions will be based on Anatomy section. Along with it, the same 17 questions will be asked from Physiology and Biochemistry sections as well.
Students are advised to attempt all the questions which are asked in the exam as it does not have negative marking scheme.

While filling the FMGE 2025 application form students need to ensure that photograph should be coloured and without background. It should have white background and candidate's name & date should be mentioned on it.
The ideal size of image which needs to be uploaded must be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm. The maximum size for the image is 80 KB and acceptable format should be of .JPG/.JPEG/.IMAGE.

Yes, it is mandatory to pass the FMGE exam to practice in India after pursuing MBBS abroad. However, you are exempted from this exam if you have completed your MBBS from a university in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.

In 2023, the passing percentage of FMGE at Orenburg State Medical University was recorded to 30.8%. However, it has varied over the years.

According to the official notification, a total of 300 questions are asked in the FMGE exam. Though students will have to solve 150-150 questions seperately. There will be a time interval between both these exams. The nature of questions which will be asked in the FMGE exam will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

There will be a total of 200 questions asked in the FMGE exam from the Clinical subject. Out of these 200 questions around 30 questions will be asked in the exam from Obstetrics & Genecology. Though the final number of questions can be changed in the exam.

There will be a total of 100 questions from Pre & Para Clinical section in the FMGE exam. There will be 17 questions each for Biochemistry, Physiology and Anatomy section. Along with this, Microbiology, Pharmacology and Pathology each have 13 questions. At last the Forensic Medicine section has 10 questions.
