Yes, 3 months is enough if you study properly for the FMGE exam. Focus on difficult topics and revise important topics again and again. Practice MCQs every day and give mock tests regularly to see your mistakes.

The most scoring subjects in FMGE are Medicine, Surgery, OBG, and Community Medicine. These four subjects give more than 120 marks. Many questions come from these subjects in every exam. If you prepare these well, you can easily pass FMGE

To score 200 marks in the FMGE Exam, one needs to study in a smart way. Focus more on Medicine, Surgery, OBG, and Community Medicine because they have more marks.

  • Revise these subjects many times. Practice MCQs every day.
  • Solve previous year questions and give mock tests to improve speed.
  • Also, revise Pathology and Pharmacology, as many questions come from clinical cases.
  • Make a simple study plan and revise daily.

FMGE has two papers. Both papers have different subjects.

  • Paper 1 has pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects. These include Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, and Forensic Medicine.
  • Paper 2 has clinical subjects like Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Community Medicine, Pediatrics, ENT, and Ophthalmology. Paper 2 is more important because it has more marks and more questions.

Here are the points that can help students prepare for the FMGE Entrance exam.

  • Practice MCQs daily and focus on clinical subjects with high weightage.
  • There is no negative marking, attempt every question.
  • Take multiple mock tests to understand the timing of the two 150-question parts.

The FMGE cutoff is released once the FMGE results are released. Once the FMGE cutoff is out, those who beat the cutoff list will be called for the counselling process. Students must score a minimum of 150 out of 300 to be able to beat the cutoff.
