You are eligible to take admission in this college. But the problem is the higher cut-off. Cut-off goes high every year. So, would will suggest you apply and wait for the second or third round, as in the first round it will be very difficult for you to get a seat in this college.

Production engineering is related to the manufacturing processes and machine design. It is a very essential concept for mechanical operations. PSG is a good choice for the same. Food technology is different from the production technology.

You will get placement in food companies like Horlicks, Kurkure, Lays, Dabur, Patanjali and other food manufacturing companies after completing your B.Sc honours in food technology. In government sector you can get a job in Food Corporation of India. Best of luck.
