Yes, you can as PGT requires Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned or related subjects and B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

B.Tech in food technology is completely different from ECE so comparison of both is not good. Food technology is a new branch and then it has less crowd than ECE so if you are going to food technology then there is more change for you to get a job in future.
And a thing that you are saying which is good for girls nowadays in every field girls are also doing good just take an example of Nandini K R has done B.Tech (Civil Engineering) and you all know she is the topper of civil examination 2016 so you can think civil engineering is the branch that mainly girls don't want to take but she took it and did her best, so don't think I can't do

It is a good course. You can be a quality check supervisor in companies such as Amul, Mother Dairy, Lays, etc. but the job opportunities are not much but again, the salary is good.
